Terms & Conditions
1. It is parent/guardians responsibility to inform the instructor of any of the child's health or medical conditions. For example Autism, Asthma etc.
2. Minors must have the consent of an adult to be able to take part in training classes by signing the club rules.
3. Joining fee and monthly payments are an acknowledgement of the rules, and must be paid
in full and on time each month. By registering with our club you understand youare enrolling your child into a monthly subscription, meaning the costregardless of the amount of lessons you attend is the same. If you wish to resign from our club you must cancel your subscription by text message or via email before the 1st of the month, otherwise you will be charged themonthly subscription fee until you cancel. The email/text must include the full name of the child, the location in which they train and the hour of their training session.
4. If you decide to re-join classes after resigning, you will need to once again pay the joining fee.
5. Every effort is taken on behalf of the club instructors to ensure that training is offered with regard to best practice, students must also act in consideration towards fellow students. No uncontrolled violent behaviour will be tolerated.
6. During all half-terms, Christmas/Easter break training classes are cancelled as well as all bank holidays.
7. We are not responsible for minors outside the dojo (training hall) and the items left behind after training.
8. All monthly payments are equal regardless of breaks or the amount of training sessions during the month. This means payments are divided by the 11months of trainings to come to an equal payment for each month regardless of the number of training sessions held in that month. Payment is due 1st of each month. We do NOT accept payment per lesson. We solely operate on a monthly subscription basis.
9. If a monthly payment is failed or unfulfilled the student will not be given access into the training hall until the payment is complete.
10. There are 3 ways of payment forlessons and events. The three forms of available payment are cash, through banktransfer or through the website class4kids. After a payment cash or bank transfer; we, Sport Karate Coalition Ltd, are responsible for sending an invoice over the next few days. If an invoice has not been sent within a few days please contact your instructor to resolve the issue. Invoices through class4kids are automatically sent.
11. After monthly fee is paid no refunds are given. In the case of an illness over four weeks the monthly feecan be transferred to the next month. This must be spoken to with the instructor during the illness.
12. Exams for a new belt are not compulsory and held every four months. The exam fee must be paid in cash on the day of the exam as well as bringing the Budopass. If the Budopass and payment is not handed to the examiner then it will have to be postponed to the next exam.
13. If the lessonscannot take place in the hall (due to e.g. coronavirus, a pandemic, etc.) they will be moved online and taught through Zoom.
14. If your child feels unwell and has any symptoms of coronavirus they should self-isolate in line with thegovernment advice.
Photography Consent
In accordance with Data Protection Act 2018 , we will not permit photographs, video or other images of young people to be taken without consent. If the childis under 16, consent must be obtained from a parent / carer. (If the child is over 16, it’s good practice to inform parents that photographs and/or videos of their child may be used if the child has given consent.) If you do not consent to images being taken of your son/daughter (under 16s) you must contact the instructor.
